Shawn Knopp--Project Manager, Baxter Pharmaceutical Solutions, in Bloomington, IN. Shawn is currently responsible for Account/Project Management of a major vaccine program at the Bloomington facility.
Shawn brings 12 years of experience in pharmaceuticals and consumer products to Baxter from various functional areas including Engineering, Development, Project Management, Global Operations Management, and Business Intelligence. He began his career at Colgate-Palmolive as an Engineer for capital projects and joined Wyeth Biopharma after completing graduate studies in Pharmaceutics at Purdue University. At Wyeth, he was responsible for development, project management, and later global operations management for biotech products in a standard vial/syringe configuration and in novel devices aimed at improving convenience for the patient. Before coming to Baxter, Shawn held the position of Sr. Principal Scientist at DSM Pharmaceuticals and contributed to several business strategy projects relevant to contract sterile product manufacturing.
